Palmer Wins Her 6th Star

"Winning my 6th star was just like winning my first, every win is sweet!  Patty qualified 7th on Saturday with a score of 1094.  She came in on Sunday and  won her division.  With a 4 and 1 record, and pinfall of 730 she earned top seed.  In the final match bowled, she defeated Shannon Funkhouser 148 to 112.

"There are many people I would like to thank, and if I forget anyone I apologize.  First I have to thank my mom for all her coaching and support.  Second I would like to thank my travel buddy,  Marybeth Smith.  She came to support and to have some fun.  The tour convinced her to bowl (without her shoes and balls) to become our 55th bowler.  Therefore allowing us to take 24 qualifiers.  Way to go Marybeth, she even qualified and finished 14th.  Thanks Kim and Stacey for making that 11 hour trip all worth it.  Ezee pass, haha!  Thanks to my friends who were there supporting me.  Where are you Kelly.  You are missing all the fun!!

I would like to express my thanks to the Ferri Family and employees of Town Hall Lanes for providing the very best bowling conditions and service.  The automatic scoring enhancement rocked!  Thanks for letting us bowl in your establishment and hope to see you next year.

To the up and coming youth bowlers, bowling is a fun game you can enjoy with family and friends.  Some days will be good and some days will be not so good.  Don't let your head ruin your game.
